Supporting What’s Good

As many of you know, the Carleigh Hofman Real Estate model includes supporting local businesses, charities, and communities. Why? I want to lead by example and work collaboratively with other hard working business minds, to create a lifestyle and community around the Real Estate opportunities that this city has to offer my clients. I’m here to seek new opportunities in areas that have growth potential in the coming years, and continue to support communities, which have hit record-breaking prices, to keep this the Vancouver we all know and love. If everyone does their part at giving back to local business, and to the communities we reside in, all of our investments in Real Estate will all continue to grow in the years to come. We all want to make smart investments…some say it’s unattainable in Vancouver, I say, #YOUCANLIVEHERE. Just ask me how!

This month, I’m featuring some local businesses that I am going to support, and you should too! Find out my reasons why, and learn about what surrounds you. Take a read, be adventurous and lead a life you love. Don’t forget to make smart investments along the way! (Reminder: I’m your girl for that)

What happens when you take the host of Canucks TV and mix her with a social media guru? You get two beautiful blondes, some amazing creativity, and one hell of a company! I can’t emphasize enough how impressed I am with these two girls and the work they have done for their clients, including myself.

Hannah Bernard and Sam Ellis started Roots and Ardor with a vision different than most digital media companies. Their mission is very similar to my own: “We want to do good business with good people.” (Fancy that, we are doing work together!) Roots + Ardor strip down traditional marketing methods and focus on four key elements: Digital marketing, social media content, videography, and your company’s connection to its community. Whether you’re starting a new small business or reimagining a longstanding corporation, they will deep dive with you into the core of what makes your brand unique. Go check out @realtorcarl instagram as a testament of the kind of work they do. Be sure to go give them a follow too @rootsandardor.

With years of combined experience in digital media marketing and social videography, we know how to craft content for your business that is as relevant as it is effective. The marketing landscape is rapidly shifting as the world finds its information primarily on digital platforms. We want to help you move with the digital tide.

Feeling adventurous? Love the mountains? Run by the beautiful and talented Oana Morariu, UP KNÖRTH is a rapidly growing lifestyle brand created here in beautiful Vancouver. I am choosing to support Oana and her initiatives because she encourages an outdoor lifestyle, which in my own words, “we all should embrace.” This city is full of adventure, and adventure seekers. UP KNÖRTH is the place to go to be exposed to the hot spots around our mountainous city, and to be opened to an outdoor lifestyle brand that follows a similar philosophy to my own. Her products are all sustainable, yet stylish and durable, and she’s got a very positive, simple approach to her business, which I LOVE! Her Instagram is worth a follow: @UPKNORTH

Up Knörth is a lifestyle brand dedicated to quality products for the ever adventurous. Our products, partnerships and collaborations are geared towards the same goal; to showcase unique, small-batch, well designed products that are practical, durable and sustainable. Our mission is to blend style, durability and functionality with the rugged outdoors (and a hint of Scandinavian minimalism) and transfer this philosophy to the urban lifestyle. We hold true to the environment and pride ourselves in the using only natural materials – no plastics, polyesters or nylons (unless recycled) – without ever sacrificing design and quality. We both source and make items that are long lasting, sustainable and well designed.

The handsome gents at Postmark Brewing have figured out the beer game! Coming from someone who never really loved her beer, I must say, I’m now always down for a cold Postmark! I am choosing to support Postmark as one of my local businesses because once again, they have a very similar vision to my own. They care more than just about people’s drink of choice. They care about your lifestyle and your community. Postmark beer filled B.C. place last month as they were chosen to be one of the beers of choice for the Vancouver Rugby 7’s. If that isn’t a testament of their success, I don’t know what is. Best thing about it all, it’s brewed right here in a heritage building on Dunlevvy in East Vancouver (The Vancouver Urban Winery). The Real Estate opportunities around this area, are funky, and fresh, and I encourage you to go check out Postmark and see the kind of life you can lead living in this very under developed area (It’s bound to grow!). Their beer pairs perfectly with their Soundcloud playlists, which cover an array of beats that take you from the morning through the night.  The Hiatus Music Festival is coming soon, which I encourage you to check out! I better see you there, or else…

Postmark Brewing is a Vancouver, BC born and built craft brewery. Our West Coast lifestyle and love for great quality beers for every occasion led us to the design, development and brew of our favorite pints. Consistent quality is paramount as we strive to create beers that cater to not only our thirsty palate but to the active lifestyles we enjoy with our friends and colleagues. At Postmark Brewing we are inspired by more than just great tasting sessionable craft beers, we enjoy taking a collaborative approach towards our other passions in life including music, photography, travel, sport, design, events and especially those who are taking risks and making great things happen. Cheers!

Why am I supporting Local?

Local Character and Prosperity

In an increasingly homogenized world, communities that preserve their one-of-a-kind businesses and distinctive character have an economic advantage.

Vancouver’s Well-Being

Locally owned businesses build strong communities by sustaining vibrant cities, linking neighbors in a web of economic and social relationships, and contributing to local causes.

Local Decision-Making

Local ownership ensures that important decisions are made locally by people who live in the community and who will feel the impacts of those decisions.

Keeping Dollars in the Local Economy

Locally owned businesses recycle a much larger share of their revenue back into the local economy, enriching the whole community.

Job and Wages

Want to buy that waterfront lot? Locally owned businesses create more jobs locally and, in some sectors, provide better wages and benefits than chains do.

Entrepreneurship fuels Vancouver economic innovation – Take a RISK and start something you LOVE!  I’M HERE TO SUPPORT YOU.

There are divers remedies. You can purchase remedies direct your office. Betweentimes people are looking for medications to resolve sexual heartiness problem. What about “over the counter viagra alternative” and “how to get viagra“? Certainly there are also other significant questions. Did read some about “where to get viagra“? A medicinal research about “how to take viagra” show that men’s most common sexual problem is erectile disfunction. If you need to take prescription medications, ask your doc to check your testosterone levels before. If you buy any erectile disfunction generics like Viagra, check with a physician that they are innocent to take with your other medications.
